Throughout the year, Hotel Solidaire Mangily offers original dishes of the country, through its collaboration with Farm School of the NGO Bel Avenir that provides fruits and vegetables.

Organic and Fresh Products

Respect for the seasonality of products allows customers to Hôtel Solidaire Mangily discover authentic cuisine: a journey of the senses to meet the Malagasy culture through your taste buds. The voluntary absence of chemicals in crops helps to ensure quality products, having no impact on both the environment and on health.

The month of August was very productive for crops in home gardens of the Farm School of Bel Avenir in Mangily. The delicious lemons, tomatoes, carrots, eggplants, papayas and jujubes are the star products of September.

Jam and honey products within the Farm School, guarantee a pleasant awakening with breakfast Hôtel Solidaire Mangily. Similarly, papaya and organic lemon used to make delicious homemade ice cream and refreshing fruit salad for dessert. For meat and seafood, the restaurant uses local market that always offers fresh products.

Solidarity Meals

Meals at the Hôtel Solidaire Mangily are referred to as solidarity meals in the sense that the profits of the restaurant are for educational and environmental projects of the NGO Bel Avenir.

Moreover, Hôtel Solidaire Mangily buys from a secured agricultural producer. In fact, hotel guests are not the only ones to benefit from production; there are also around 10,000 vulnerable children, beneficiaries of the project against malnutrition Bel Avenir who take advantage of this production in canteens and Mangily Tulear.

Finally, part of the income of agricultural production is used to finance the project of the Farm School Mangily (opened in October 2014).
