The Hôtel Solidaire Mangily receives the distinctive mark “Comfort” from the Label Village Monde in this international year of sustainable tourism for development

Following the analysis and visit of an explorer from Village Monde in 2016, the Hôtel Solidaire Mangily has obtained the Label Village Monde in the category Comfort. The Hôtel Solidaire Mangily is now part of a solidarity and exemplary tourism destinations and initiatives network.

Village Monde is a charitable international organization whose mission is the promotion and implementation of projects in support of the development of a network of village tourism and solidarity tourism, in the world’s most remote and isolated villages, by adopting a strategy of participative intervention on the ground.

 

The Hôtel Solidaire Mangily has been evaluated on its sustainable contributions to the community, socially, economically and environmentally. By investing all the benefits in educational projects of the NGO Bel Avenir, the hotel benefits directly the local population. This evaluation focused on the quality of accommodation and hospitality, proposed activities, respect for the environment, authenticity and pride. This process has resulted in the labeling Village Monde which is a true guarantee of quality for the traveler and a distinctive mark.

Reviewed by survey and then during the visit of Mr. Richard BOHAN, a tourist marketing and Sustainable Tourism consultant, Hôtel Solidaire Mangily fulfills the QUALITY and SUSTAINABLE Charters’ conditions of FHORM’s adherents with a “very satisfactory” mention.
